As you have well heard by now, a devastating tornado touched down in Armada. There was much devastation in our area. Last Monday, I organized a day of prayer and work; we were able to hit three houses—with only about 15 people. There may be many parishioners who still need assistance. If you are willing to assist, please give your name and contact info to Catherine at Holy Family, Lisa at St. Mary’s, or Patti at St. Augustine (or one of the priests after Mass).
The little town of Armada is strong and so many people came out to help others and make sure they were ok. The tornado itself was fierce and scary. But the people’s response to help has been quick and faithful. God was so merciful to His people and no one got hurt!
